Designing High Impact AI use Cases on SAP Business AI Platform

Event Overview
This practitioner-focused session helps customers move from AI ideas to well-designed, implementable AI use cases across predictive AI, generative AI, and agentic AI. Using the BestRun model company as a consistent business context, the session introduces representative personas and walks through concrete business problems, showing how different AI patterns apply to different decision types, process needs, and data conditions.
The session keeps the original focus on end-to-end solution design, but updates the decision framework for SAP’s post-SAPPHIRE direction. Participants will learn how to evaluate whether a use case is best served by an existing SAP capability, a Joule experience, a standard or planned Joule Assistant, a Joule Studio extension, or a custom solution architecture using SAP Business AI Platform and underlying BTP services. The goal is not to force every use case into an agentic pattern, but to choose the simplest architecture that creates measurable business value while preserving governance, security, and scalability.
The session will cover practical AI solution patterns including forecasting and classification, document understanding, retrieval-augmented generation, grounded LLM experiences, and agentic workflows. It will also show how services such as Joule, Joule Studio, Generative AI Hub, Document AI, HANA Cloud Vector Engine, SAP Knowledge Graph, SAP Business Data Cloud, and code-based agent implementations can be composed into complete, business-grounded architectures when custom design is needed.
