CSR at Clockhouse Place

At Clockhouse Place we take CSR very seriously therefore some of the initiatives we have implemented are ensuring that our food waste goes to anaerobic digestion which produces energy returned to the grid to power homes, businesses and the remnants from the process produce a high-grade fertiliser that is returned to farmers to aid in the growth of more food and crops.

We have also SAP UK and our inhouse caterers have partnered with ‘bio-bean’ to ensure all our coffee waste (from the coffee shop) is transformed into advanced biofuels and biochemicals. By using this award-winning clean technology, SAP supports looking after its environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Autism at work

One of SAP’s flagship diversity programmes, Autism at Work is now active in 13 countries.
People on the Autism Spectrum typically have a systematic and logical mindset which makes them excellent potential employees for the technology sector, yet they often struggle to be recognised, resulting in a poor employment rate – 16% in full time employment in the UK. Autism at Work UK is trying to end this gap and help a disadvantaged community. This is another example of how SAP continues to help the world run better and improve people’s lives.

Pride at SAP

SAP is one of the world's largest software companies and leader in enterprise applications. Pride@SAP UK is the local chapter of SAP’s 8000 members strong LGBT+ employee network which started in 2001.

At SAP, we are dedicated to eliminating bias in the workplace and want to enable every individual to be recognized for what they have to contribute – and have the freedom to be their authentic selves. Our employee network, Pride@SAP, has three main objectives:

  • Provide support and networking for LGBT+ staff
  • Increase understanding of LGBT+ issues and relevance in the business
  • Contribute and support the diversity agenda of SAP UK, which includes hiring more LGBT+ talent

The key to SAP's success? Our people.
