SAP’s Student Training and Rotation (STAR) Program in Singapore provides a unique opportunity for students studying Business, Human Resources, Accounting and Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or Software Engineering to develop technical, business, and personal skills, and gain real-life experience while completing tertiary studies.

The SAP STAR Program in Singapore is a perfect way for you to gain real-world experience that is relevant to your studies before you graduate.

Our globally supported work integrated learning program provides students real-world experience at SAP, complementing tertiary studies by both guiding and preparing them for a future career. As a STAR Program participant, you will have the opportunity to rotate across several SAP business areas while receiving on-the-job and structured development and coaching from leaders in the technology and sales fields.

The program is suited to students studying in Singapore, who are able to work full-time during study breaks and two-days per week during the academic year to gain hands-on practical experience in today’s fast-paced technology industry.

At the end of the program and your studies, you will have the opportunity to be considered for other opportunities within the business.

The program can contribute to credit-based internship or attachment programs required as part of a students’ course.

We are looking for students with either 18+ or 30+ months of studies remaining who are studying the following degrees – either as a single discipline or as a double degree:

The SAP STAR Program in Singapore is structured to fit with most academic schedules, allowing students to study, complete paid work and gain credit towards a degree.

SAP STAR Program participants will:

  • Undertake paid work while completing remaining undergraduate studies
  • Undertake orientation, structured and unstructured learning, mentoring and networking across the duration of the program
  • Participate in at least three rotations within our Customer First business
  • Have an opportunity to be involved in innovative, client-focused projects. Program participants will have the opportunity to be exposed to three areas of our business:

Sales

Our Account Managers and Sales teams are trusted advisors to their clients, engaging in a meaningful way to deliver sustainable solutions to some of business’ biggest challenges.

Presales

The first point of contact and trusted advisors for our customers, our Presales teams provide presales support for SAP products and services. They create and maintain sales presentations, product demos, and other materials to help secure business and grow revenue.

Innovation, Digital and Industry Value Engineering

A part of our Presales team, our Innovation and Industry Value Engineering teams design, create and deliver extensions to our cloud solutions and contribute to innovative development projects.

Who is eligible to apply?

Students should be:

  • Studying in Singapore
  • Studying Business, Human Resources, Accounting and Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Have either 18+ month or 30+ months remaining of studies from the following year
  • Able to work minimum two-days per week during semester, work full-time in study breaks and willing to undertake a 6-month full-time placement (can be academically credited)
  • Ambitious, passionate about people, technology, innovation and finding solutions
