The SAP Partner Awards showcase top-performing partners that have excelled in helping customers bring out their best.

SAP has restructured our award recognition to provide more meaningful distinction, reflect our partners’ essential contributions, and ensure all award categories align to the Partner Ecosystem Success strategy. The SAP Partner Awards replace the SAP Pinnacle Awards, the SAP Global LoB Partner Excellence Awards, and the SAP Regional Partner Excellence Awards.

 

2026 Partner Awards are based on performance from January 1 to December 31, 2025. Regional announcements will take place in January and February 2026, with in-person recognition continuing to coincide with Q1 kick-off events. Global announcements will take place in February 2026, with in-person recognition continuing to coincide with SAP Sapphire.

SAP restructured the partner awards to establish a more consistent and strategic approach that reflects the increasingly critical role partners play in driving customer value. The updated awards offer greater significance, increased transparency, elevated branding, and enhanced benefits, while aligning with our long-term business goals and providing more distinguished recognition.

Beginning in 2026, there will be only three SAP partner award programs:

  • SAP Partner Awards – Global

  • SAP Partner Awards – Regional

  • SAP Partner Awards – Market Unit

All partners that are aligned with SAP’s AI-first, Suite-first strategy are eligible and automatically considered for this recognition based on quantitative performance from system-generated data.

Yes, qualifying focus areas include:

  • SAP Business AI: Driving adoption and value with SAP solutions or building innovations on AI Foundation.

  • SAP Business Data Cloud (SAP BDC): Advancing SAP BDC, developing SAP Business Data Cloud Intelligent Applications, and consumption-driving methodologies.

  • SAP Business Suite: Supporting SAP’s strategy with services for finance, sales, HR, and industry-specific needs.

Recognition requires aligning with clean core principles, SAP technology adoption, certification metrics, and using the integrated toolchain.

 

Value-added resellers will be evaluated for autonomous capabilities.

No, the SAP Partner Awards – Global replace both the SAP Pinnacle Awards and the SAP Global LoB Partner Excellence Awards.

No, the SAP Partner Awards – Regional replace the SAP Regional Partner Excellence Awards.

The SAP Partner Awards – Global refer to SAP’s premier partner recognition program, while the SAP Innovation Awards refer to SAP’s premier customer recognition program.

The SAP Innovation Awards are still being recognized, but the Partner Paragon category is no longer part of the program. Partners who are also SAP customers are encouraged to submit their nominations as a customer.
