The SAP Student Training & Rotation Program (STAR) is unlike any other. It is a paid, multi-year, rotational training program designed to help students jumpstart their career and dive into real-world project work. Join us and approximately 1000 other students in 11 different countries around the globe as we work to build a brighter future. Eligibility for the program requires students to be currently enrolled in university near our Newtown Square, PA or Pittsburgh, PA office location.

Our interns work full-time during break and part-time during school and can expect the following:

  • Develop some of the most innovative technologies in the world
  • Achieve practical and hands-on experience working with both internal and external customers
  • Collaborate with international teams to change the way we run business
  • Discover endless opportunities through multiple rotations

Work on real projects

Students in the STAR program can expect to work on a variety of projects from cloud services to user experience to networking and infrastructure support. The rotation in IT Services will be one year, full-time during breaks or co-ops and part-time while at university. After the one year, students will rotate to a different line of business within SAP.

Help safeguard SAP software

STAR program students will have the opportunity to work on projects related to User Experience, Cloud, Mobility and HANA. Students will work closely with our customers and help to educate them on how to best use SAP technology and run their businesses simpler and faster!

Work closely with major customers

With our consulting opportunities, students in the STAR program can choose a functional or technical role and use their technical and business skills to help customers achieve success.  

Work with the latest technologies

The North America Presales Innovation team allows you to utilize the newest technology to figure out how to help SAP customers Run Simple. Come and learn how these technologies connect SAP and businesses around the world.

Application

To apply, contact us via email explaining whether you would like to work in our Pittsburgh office or Newtown Square, PA office and we will direct you through the application process. You can also apply via your university job posting board.

Assessment

As soon as we have your application, you will receive an e-mail asking you to complete an online technical assessment.

Interviews

There are two rounds of interviews. They may be on campus, at our office, or over the phone.

If you received an offer, congrats! Welcome to SAP. Your recruiter will work with you on all the details.
