Step-by-step guide to checking usage and buying more licenses

1. Sign in to SAP for Me

Once signed in, you'll be taken straight to the Finance & Legal section.

2. Check your usage and get more

In this dashboard, view your licenses and consumption. Potential Overusage indicates your company is consuming more than originally licensed. Click Get More to add licenses.

If the Get More button is not clickable, you need to request buyer authorization.

3. Adjust your cart and check out

Here you can adjust quantities, view pricing based on your contract term, and view and/or adjust the contract start date. All set, click on Check Out.

4. Review order details and place order

View additional information from your shopping cart - and add an optional PO number before clicking on Place Order.

5. Congratulations! Your order is complete

View a summary of your purchase. In just a few moments, your new subscriptions will be ready to use.

Frequently asked questions

Visit the Finance and Legal tab of SAP for Me to log in.


In this dashboard, you can see all the eligible products, including those with usage over your number of purchased licenses.

Click "Get More" to open an online shopping cart where you can edit the quantity and start date and view your custom terms and pricing.

If you do not see a "Get More" link, you do not currently have buyer authorization.

When you're ready, click "Check Out" and have one more review of the transaction details before clicking "Place Order" to complete the transaction.

Your order is complete. You'll get a summary of your purchase via email, and in a few moments, your additional licenses will be ready for use.

If you need authorization support, please read the FAQ "How do I request buyer authorization via SAP for Me?"

Once you’ve started the transaction, you can select the desired start date for the new licenses from the shopping cart.


Since these licenses are added to your existing contract, you are not able to change the end date.

Please reach out to your account team if you’d like to discuss adjusting the end date of your existing contract.

Visit the Finance and Legal tab of SAP for Me to log in.


If you do not see any "Get More" links in the License Materials section, you do not currently have buyer authorization.

To request this, click on “Missing Authorization” and select "Buy Licenses."

Then, choose the S-user from your organization from whom you’d like to request access.

Clicking submit will generate an email to this individual in your organization. Feel free to edit the email, and click send.

Once your access is granted, you’ll be able to ”Get More” via SAP for Me.
