migrating to SAP Cloud ERP Private Edition. Following challenges with an initial SAP Sovereign Cloud approach, Ausgrid pivoted to SAP Enterprise Cloud
Services, completing the complex migrations in just 9 months through a collaborative partnership with SAP and Infosys. The project involved a Unicode
conversion and EHP6 upgrade (Ausgrid ECC6), remediation of 2000+ custom objects, and management of 420+ critical integrations including meter data
processing systems. The implementations delivered immediate operational benefits, reducing nightly meter processing time by 67% from 6 hours to 2 hours for
1.5 million meters, eliminating SLA violations and providing substantial growth headroom. Most significantly, Plus ES achieved their first successful disaster
recovery failover testing in multiple years, establishing confidence in business continuity capabilities crucial for critical infrastructure operations. There were
zero-outages following go-live demonstrating the strength of the three-way partnership approach. This cloud foundation now positions Ausgrid & Plus ES for
their planned broader S/4HANA transformation of the regulated business, supporting Australia's evolving energy infrastructure needs while maintaining the

comprehensive disaster recovery architecture with short distance disaster recovery (SSDR) configuration (50km between Sydney-
based primary and secondary sites). Despite initial project challenges requiring a reset, the collaborative "one-team" approach
delivered two successful go-lives with no High Priority incidents resulting in downtime post go-live. The implementation established
improved & simplified failover capabilities and enhanced the overall cyber security posture while aligning with Ausgrid's broader cloud
migration strategy. This foundation supports Ausgrid’s planned future transformation from ECC6 to S/4HANA for the regulated
