Challenges
Lactalis Australia was challenged by a resource-intensive and time-consuming process of manually attaching Proof of Delivery
(POD) to SAP documents. With high volumes, delays in processing were common, especially during peak periods or staff
shortages.
Limited tracking, auditing and reporting capabilities further compounded the issue, making it difficult to maintain visibility and
ensure data accuracy.

eliminating repetitive manual tasks.
The solution extracts PDF attachments containing PODs from incoming Outlook emails and integrates with SAP ECC to attach them to
the correct documents. Predefined rules and validation reduce manual errors, ensuring accurate processing. The project was
delivered on time and budget in an eight-week sprint.
