Fonterra Oceania (comprised of Fonterra Brands New Zealand (FBNZ) and Fonterra Australia) is primarily a consumer brands business unit of
Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited. Fonterra is a global dairy products powerhouse and leader in dairy science and innovation. The
business itself is headquartered in New Zealand, with offices in more than 40 countries, and a vast workforce supporting its daily operations.
Fonterra Oceania manages a significant portfolio of market leading FMCG brands in Asia Pacific, such as Anchor, Mainland, Perfect Italiano,
and others. Fonterra Oceania also has significant Foodservice and Ingredients businesses, which it services through 12 manufacturing sites
across Australia and New Zealand.
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Forecasting was implemented for FBNZ in August 2023 and Fonterra Australia in April 2024 as part of the roll out
of a Global Financial reporting planning and analysis solution that provided a collaborative, agile, and automated solution. At the back of
implementing SAP IBP for demand planning and financial forecasting to standard gross margin, SAC enabled a unified solution for planning to
EBIT level for the business with capability to roll it out to multiple business units globally.
