Murphy Oil Corporation is an US-based independent oil and gas exploration and production company headquartered in El Dorado, Arkansas. Murphy Oil partnered with Incture LLC to deploy SAP Integration Suite as part of a broader SAP BAIP platform—building what the company describes as a next-generation digital oil field.

The integration layer connected Murphy's field data sources, HANA-based analytics and operational systems into a centralised monitoring cockpit. Machine learning and pattern recognition capabilities were applied across integrated data streams to identify efficiency opportunities and flag anomalies before they became incidents.

The operational impact was direct: onshore field operators now use touchless mobile applications, removing the manual data entry and system-switching that previously consumed time on every shift.

HELLENiQ ENERGY: automating decisions across a complex enterprise

HELLENiQ ENERGY Holdings S.A. is one of Greece's largest energy companies, operating oil refining and petroleum distribution across a sprawling multi-country footprint with €12.8 billion in annual revenue and 3,700 employees.

The integration challenge at HELLENiQ ENERGY was different in character but familiar in root cause. The company's investment proposal and management-of-change processes involved multiple departments—finance, operations, compliance—but lacked the integrated data flows to support them efficiently. Proposals moved through the organisation manually: data was re-entered at each step, approvals stalled waiting for the right information to arrive in the right format and the absence of a single source of truth created recurring discrepancies between systems.

The cost was measurable. Approval cycles ran longer than they needed to. Data inaccuracies required correction work downstream. And the manual co-ordination burden fell on people across the organisation who had other priorities.
