Sensory Relaxation Room

SAP Autism at Work (AaW) officially opened the Sensory Relaxation room in April 2023 at the Prague Metronom office. This initiative signifies yet another milestone for SAP’s commitment to workplace inclusion and this calming space is available to all colleagues at the Prague location.The Sensory Relaxation room was designed to provide a safe space where employees can have a quiet moment to refresh their mind when the day feels overwhelming or stressful. Sensory overload can be a challenge for individuals on the autism spectrum and having a space to feel centered again can help the individual to return to a productive state. The room’s features were selected in consultation with our AaW Czech colleagues during the design process. Designed for individuals on the spectrum, this space can benefit all colleagues and demonstrates how an inclusive environment brings advantageous to everyone.
