Event Overview

Microcontrollers are the brains behind electronic devices, but sometimes off-the-shelf boards don't have the right form factor for a given projects. In this workshop we will learn the fundamentals of electronics and build our own microcontrollers. You will walk away with the knowledge to roll your own electronics hardware for any size project you can think of.

Participants will be work alone or on teams to build a microcontroller from scratch. No prior electronics or programming experience are required.

This event is brought to you in partnership with Techshop. TechShop is an open-access, DIY workshop and fabrication studio where entrepreneurs, artists, makers, teachers, and students learn and make together. Their first NYC location in Sunset Park, Brooklyn will open fall 2017.
