The SAP Student Training and Rotation (SAP STAR) program is unlike any other. It is a paid, multi-year, rotational training program designed to help university students jumpstart their career and dive into real-world project work. As an SAP STAR program intern you will have the opportunity to rotate into multiple teams while receiving on-the-job training and structured development and coaching from some of the top leaders in technology. Create your own career path

As an SAP STAR program intern, you rotate into at least two different teams at SAP. For your first rotation, your manager will pair you with a team that matches your interests, skills, and education. For your next rotations, you get to pick what teams you want to work with. Some of the most common lines of work are listed below.

Coding is your cardio

Do you want to code for a living? Our engineering product and project management opportunities range from cloud services to user interface and user experience design to networking and everything in between.

Transform the world through technology

Do you enjoy problem solving? SAP STAR program interns work with customers on projects related to product integration while working in user experience (UX), cloud, mobility, business analytics, and SAP HANA.

Be the face of SAP

With our consulting opportunities, students in the SAP STAR program can choose a functional or technical role and use their technical and business skills to help customers achieve success.

Work with the latest technologies

To apply, contact us and tell us in which location you would like to work (Newtown Square, PA or Pittsburgh, PA) or apply through your university’s job board.

As soon as we have your application, you will receive an e-mail asking you to complete an online technical assessment.

There are two rounds of interviews. They may be on campus, at our office, or over the phone.

Students eligible to apply should be:

  • Currently enrolled in college or university
  • Located near our Pittsburgh office or Newtown Square office year-round
  • Enrolled as a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) major
  • Able to work part-time during academic semesters and full-time during
    non-academic semesters (for undergraduates). Graduate students should be able to work full-time for one calendar year.
