Effective HR business transformation projects require a clear understanding of current performance, and the role that technology can play in closing operational gaps and exceeding peer results. The human capital management initiative in the ASUG/SAP benchmarking program is intended to help SAP customers and select non-SAP customers understand and value performance gaps and, subsequently, develop strategies for success.

Program Participation

Participation in the benchmarking program typically takes two to five days and may include multiple individuals to gather and enter data via a secure Web site. Participants can establish an account ID and password to save draft versions of the survey and to allow multiple individuals within the organization to work jointly on the survey, using the same account access. However, one individual needs to be assigned as the main point of contact.

Program Benefits

Upon completion of the study, your principal contact will receive a detailed report comparing your organization's performance with that of other survey participants. To date, more than 95 percent of program participants have found the report and the insights generated to be "highly valuable" or "valuable." In addition, if you choose, SAP will present your results to you and your team. Participants' responses will be aggregated with those of the other participants and will not be disclosed in a non-aggregated manner without permission of the participating company.
