With virtual classroom training you get comprehensive training from SAP experts using seamless over-the web connectivity. The same content delivered in SAP's traditional "brick and mortar" classrooms is presented during virtual classroom deliveries. As in SAP's traditional classrooms, SAP virtual classroom stresses hands-on learning providing each registered student with exclusive access to live SAP systems throughout each course.

Anyone Can Attend a Virtual Classroom Training Delivery

Any individual accepting the student/customer responsibilities and meeting the technical requirements listed below can register for a virtual classroom training delivery. Simply contact SAP Education Central Registration at 1-888-777-1727 to register for a class.

Each person will receive a confirmation upon registration completion and a follow-up e-mail two business days before delivery start outlining their class preparation activities.

Companies having multiple individuals who want to attend a virtual classroom training event are required to register each individual.

• Access to a live instructor for the complete duration of the course

What You'll Need to Take a Virtual Course

The technical requirements to participate in a virtual classroom delivery are basic and not expensive to implement. The following is a summary of the major requirements:

• Ability of registered student to download software, plug-ins, etc. required for participation in a virtual classroom delivery
• Computer (laptop, desktop, PC)
• High-speed Internet access (LAN, DSL, cable)
• 17 inch or larger monitor (recommended)
• Internet browser
• Phone with headset/microphone or speakerphone feature

Before registering for a virtual classroom delivery please review the SAP Education virtual classroom technical requirements document to ensure you can participate.

Registration Cutoff

In order to provide adequate time for all registered students to download software and carry out required activities before course start registration for public virtual classroom deliveries will be stopped at 5:00 p.m. Eastern three (3) business days before the start date of delivery.

For example; if a virtual classroom delivery starts on Monday the registration cutoff will be at 5:00 p.m. Eastern the previous Wednesday.

Course Delivery Times

All deliveries of publicly scheduled virtual classroom training will be carried out from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST.

Student/Customer Responsibility

Two business days prior to delivery start an e-mail will be sent to each registered student identifying the required software downloads and activities to be carried out before the start of their virtual classroom delivery.

It is the responsibility of each registered student to plan time for and complete all required software installation and other outlined activities prior to the start of the class.

Students/customers are discouraged from registering for a virtual classroom delivery if they will not be able to complete these activities prior to delivery start. Failure to complete these activities will negatively impact the student/customers satisfaction with the virtual classroom delivery.
