Tuition Reimbursement

SAP America has established a tuition reimbursement plan to help eligible employees develop their skills and improve their performance. The plan is available to all full-time employees who work 40 hours per week and who elect to enroll in graduate or undergraduate courses of study offered by colleges or universities that meet the traditional U.S. Department of Education accreditation requirements. Courses must lead to a degree that, in the opinion of SAP America, is directly or reasonably related to your present job.

The plan may reimburse you for courses that will not lead to a degree, provided the courses issue either graduate or undergraduate college credits. Reimbursement under the plan is 100% for the eligible costs of tuition, registration fees, and books, with an annual maximum of $8,500, based upon the final grade you receive for the course as follows:

Grade Amount of Reimbursement
A 100%
B 100%
P (Pass/Fail) 100%
C or below 0%

Graduate and undergraduate tuition reimbursement is excluded from tax for up to $5,250 per year. Taxes will be withheld from any reimbursements that exceed this amount.
