In 2000, faced with rapid growth in demand and an increasingly competitive market place, Daryl Industries commissioned SAP partner Notability Solutions - now a subsidiary of Chelford Group, the specialist mid-market systems solutions provider - to design and implement an enterprise-wide system. This would help Daryl to build further on its own high standards, with a more agile and flexible structure, and to cut out non value-added activities.

The Daryl management team drew up a comprehensive set of key performance indicators (KPIs) prior to implementation, enabling them easily and accurately to assess the application's contribution to the business. Two years later all objectives have been achieved or exceeded, representing a very substantial and satisfactory return on the company's investment.
