WGBSEC – Configuration of UME

Deals with users in the SAP NetWeaver JAVA systems, and UME configuration. The structure of the User Management Engine (UME) and the use of the associated administration tools is looked at in detail. The standard actions in the user administration environment, such as creating users and creating and assigning authorizations and roles are presented. Additional UME parameters are explained, along with log and trace files.

Target audience is Security/User administration teams who have or are about to implement a Java landscape and need to understand Java Users, Roles/Authorizations, Troubleshooting, and log and trace files.
