Overview Courses for FI and CO in ECC 6.0
There are currently 3 Level 2 courses on offer in the Financial Accounting and Controlling Areas. Please note that the WGBFAC has now been replaced by the AC050.
AC010: Business Processes in Financial Accounting
Is a 5 day course focused solely on Financial Accounting. It covers the areas of Classic General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and a small amount of Cash Management. It does not include New General Ledger and is delivered on an ECC 5.0 system where New General Ledger has not been activated.
AC040:Business Processes in Management Accounting
Is a 5 day course focused solely on Controlling. It covers the areas of Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profitability Accounting and Product Costing. It also covers classic Profit Center Accounting. It is delivered on an ECC 5.0 system where New General Ledger has not been activated.
AC050: Business Processes in Financial and Management Accounting with New General Ledger
Is a 5 day course covering both FI and CO. As the title suggests it is delivered on an ECC 6.0 system with New General Ledger activated. The areas covered are New General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders and Profit Centres in New GL. It consists of slides taken from both the AC010 and AC040 and therefore delegates should attend either the AC010 and AC040 or the AC050 but not both. This is the only Level 2 course for ECC 6.0 to feature New General Ledger at present.
WGBFAC: Foundation in Accounting and Controlling replaced by AC050
Is a 5 day course covering both FI and CO. The areas covered are Classic General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders and some classic Profit Center Accounting. It is delivered on an ECC 5.0 system where New General Ledger is not activated. It consists of slides taken from both the AC010 and AC040 and therefore delegates should attend either the AC010 and AC040 or the WGBFAC but not both. This is a UK specific course.
Any new implementations at ECC 5.0 and above will have New General Ledger activated and therefore this is the relevant Level 2 course for anyone working on those projects.
