Bill McDermott is a member of the executive board of SAP AG. He serves as the president of Global Field Operations, overseeing the company's strategic business activities around the globe. Previously, McDermott had been responsible for managing SAP's operations in the United States, Canada, and Latin America and in the Asia Pacific Japan region, which includes Japan, China, and India. Prior to joining SAP, McDermott served as executive vice president of Worldwide Sales & Operations at Siebel Systems, and president of Gartner, Inc., where he led the company's core operations.
McDermott was recently appointed to the board of directors of ANSYS Inc., a company that designs and develops engineering simulation solutions used to predict how product designs will behave in manufacturing and real-world environments. He sits on the board of directors of ANSYS, Under Armour, and PAETEC Communications Inc. He is an active member of the Business Roundtable, the Enterprise Software Roundtable, the advisory board for Villanova University, and the national advisory board for the Knowledge Is Power Program (KIPP).
McDermott holds a master's degree in business administration from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in Illinois. He is an active community leader and advocate for corporate social responsibility. He's been named Idealist of the Year by City Year Greater Philadelphia and Humanitarian of the Year by Triangle, Inc., a social services organization that helps people with disabilities. |

Tim Noble, Managing Director of the United Kingdom and Ireland commenced his responsibilities on 1 June 2009. Responsible for driving the corporate strategy, Tim is focused on transforming and growing the SAP UKI business while building solid relationships with SAP’s customer and partners.
Prior to beginning his role at SAP, Tim was Senior Vice-President and Executive Officer of the Gartner Group. In this role, Tim had complete responsibility for the development and execution of the company’s global sales strategy. During his 15 years working with the Gartner Group, he served in a number of sales and management positions. Before joining the Gartner Group, Tim worked for organisations including Yourdon International, which was a subsidiary of Kodak, and New Science Associates, a spin-off from the Gartner Group. |
