15.30 UK Rural Payments Agency – Case study with Sun Microsystems

Join this session for an opportunity to hear how the UK Rural Payments Agency uses Sun's thin client technology to reduce its employee desktop costs; amounting to £20 million saving over seven years. The Agency saves a further £200,000 each year in electricity and is on-target to cut its carbon emission footprint by 260 tons per year. In addition the time required to roll out application updates has been cut from weeks to days and improved IT flexibility and eased employee mobility needs.

16.15 SAP Invoice Management -Improving efficiency throughout the Financial Supply Chain – with Open Text

For many organisations, the Accounts Payable process is the greatest drain on finance department resources - and also the area where the greatest performance gains can be achieved throughout the financial supply chain and beyond.

While SAP ERP automatically records transactions, dealing with the minority of invoices that fail to match up on the first pass is still largely a laborious and costly manual process with plenty of scope for human error, duplication of effort and wasted time. Receiving paper invoices, routing them for data entry, resolving problems and reporting is unnecessarily complex, cumbersome, costly and time-consuming. These unnecessary invoice processing costs can be multiplied and compounded on a global level – with a cumulatively negative effect on cash flow and bottom line performance.

Learn from SAP and Open Text experts how you can optimise your Accounts Payable process with SAP Invoice Management by Open Text by attending this session.
