The Utilities Information Exchange will be an ideal opportunity to obtain a complete update of how SAP is working closely with the Utilities industry and to develop relationships with individuals in similar organisations who may be wrestling with similar challenges.

• ESB Independent Energy will be discussing their recent successful implementation of SAP for Utilities, which was carried out in only 10 months within the competitive All-Island market, which includes multi national, multi currency capabilities. ESB Independent Energy will talk us through how the project delivered a scaleable and robust billing and customer care solution for a competitive company.
• Centrica Energy will give an overview of their SAP Enterprise Asset Management which was chosen for all key business functions at all 8 of its UK power stations - which together produce more than half of Britain's domestic electricity!
• Imperial College London will be presenting SAP's Research Digital Communities programme. SAP research explores and demonstrates sensing, wireless communication, embeded systems and web services in real world settings. Examples include vehicle tracking and monitoring of water transmission pipelines for capturing hydraulic pressure transients, detecting bursts and malfunctioning equipment in real-time.
