Ernie Els Wins the King Hassan 11 Trophy

SAP would like to congratulate our global golf ambassador, Ernie Els, in winning the 36th King Hassan 11 Trophy in Morocco.

On El’s first ever visit to Morocco, he obviously liked the place. He fired a final round of 68 for a 17 under par total – finishing two strokes ahead of England’s Simon Dyson and Swede Johan Edfors, with Paul McGinley two shots behind.

Along with the many European Tour and Ryder Cup stars, Els also triumphed over double 'major' winner Mark O’Meara to claim the $150,000 first prize.

Els has been SAP’s global brand ambassador since the 2003 Mercedes Championships in Hawaii, which he won with a world record breaking 31 under par. SAP is proud to be associated with such a truly successful global athlete, who continues to be judged as one of the most popular and greatest golfers of his generation.
