Eligibility

In order to qualify for a certification exam you must be:

• "Full Conference" registrant with fully paid status on or before October 25, 2008.
• A registered SAP consultant (SAP employee, partner, or independent), or an SAP Customer Core Competency Center team member, or an employee of an SAP partner or customer.
• An S-User ID holder – specifics as to S-User ID information are listed at the bottom of this document or an SAP Employee with a D or I number.

In addition, the following eligibility requirements exist for certification candidates:

Partners and Customers

• Participants must complete the relevant academy courses with SAP Education or an SAP Education Partner to qualify to take the certification exams.
• Candidates can appear for re-certification with a copy of score sheet, provided the exam is in the offering.

Or all of the below:

• Must have served current employer for at least 12 months prior to the exam date.
• For associate level certification exams, a minimum one to three years of SAP implementation experience with a minimum of six months experience in the module and version in which the candidates appears for certification.
• For professional level certification exams, a minimum of three to seven years of SAP implementation experience with minimum of 12 months in the module and six months in the version in which the candidates appears for certification.
• Your present employer should be a customer or partner of SAP.

• Participants must complete the relevant academy courses with SAP Education or SAP Education partners to qualify to take the certification exams.

How Do I Register for Certification at SAP TechEd 2008 Bangalore?

• To be eligible to receive this discount towards SAP certification exam, you must be a paid-in-full Full Conference registrant of SAP TechEd 2008 Bangalore on or before October 25, 2008.
  • While registering online for SAP TechEd 2008 Bangalore, you must opt-in to receive a discount towards an SAP certification exam in response to a related question in the online registration flow. This action also generates request to SAP Education to send you e-mail instructions on how to redeem the discount.
  • Payment should be made in full for your SAP TechEd 2008 Bangalore Full Conference registration, following the online registration process outlined.

Schedule of the Certification Exams at SAP TechEd 2008 Bangalore

• Date and time for the certification exam will be sent by e-mail by November 10, 2008.
• Requests for changes to the date or time of the certification slot cannot be accommodated.

Timelines for Receipt of Certificates and Score Sheets

• Certificate or score sheet will not be provided at the certification venue. A sheet of paper will be provided to record marks that are visible on the certification screen.
• Results of certification will be announced three months from the date of completion of certification by way of e-mail.
• Candidates who clear certification will receive their certificate four months from the date of completion of certification by way of mail.
• Candidates who do not clear certification will receive their score sheets four months time from the date of completion of certification by way of mail.
