SAP BUSINESSOBJECTS SET ANALYSIS

FEATURES & FUNCTIONS

SAP BusinessObjects Set Analysis features enable you to:

  • Create and share consistent segments – Whether it's based on geographies, products, or customers, segmentation helps your organization align around a set of common definitions. Many organizations perform segmentation so they can categorically and systematically understand their business performance.
  • Define critical business metrics – Segmentation helps you improve business performance, but you must also track and analyze the success of each set. Evaluating set performance helps your organization meet its objectives. If your key organizational metrics are profit margin and sales, for example, you can look at profit margins or the satisfaction index for the premium customer set to see if the appropriate supporting resources and activities are properly aligned.
  • Track segment membership and changes over time – SAP BusinessObjects Set Analysis gives you visibility into the hidden trends that drive your organization. By tracking set members over time, you can see which sets they move to and identify migration patterns between different sets. You can answer questions such as, "If customers migrate away from a loyal segment over time, when and where do they go?" Your marketers can then target departing customers with welcome-back offers or, better still, target them before they leave.
