Principal Business Consultant (f/m) SAP Business Consulting

Purpose and objective of the job

The Principal Business Consultant plays a central role in establishing SAP Business Consulting in the Polish market. She/He consults and supports customers to draw maximum value from SAP products and to create innovative, first class and sustainable Enterprise Architectures connecting business and IT. Central part of the role is to get established as Trusted Advisor within the customer’s organization and build strong relationships to the decision makers up to the board level.

The main activities are

• Developing and putting into practice groundbreaking strategies for business processes and IT
• Implementing best-practice business processes and innovative technology solutions
• Preparing investment decisions based on detailed business case examinations
• Enabling cost reductions (total cost of operation) and process efficiency (total value of ownership)

This is a demanding role for a talented individual with energy and the ability to work on tight deadlines in a multi-cultural environment.

Education and qualifications / skills and competencies

• Master degree or equivalent
• Excellent business process expertise in one or more of the following industries
  • Utilities
  • Public Services
• Leadership-/ Project-/ Program management experience
• Experience in strategic aspects of SAP applications (e.g. business case, benchmarking)
• Perspectives on current IT trends and their impact on business strategies
• Negotiation skills - communications/presentation skills (oral, written) - team player/interpersonal skills - proactive networking attributes - results and execution focus -high drive, self-starter/-motivated
• Fluent in Polish and English, other European languages are advantageous

• 6-8 years professional work experience in strategic management consulting, LOB responsibility and/or IT strategy roles with specific industry know-how.
• In-depth experience in one or many of the following areas:
  • Design and development of value driving business processes
  • Analytical evaluation and conversion of IT strategies
  • Template -concept creation and -rollout
  • TCO Analysis - optimization of IT-organisations (build and run)
