Purpose and objective of the job

The EMEA Large Enterprise (LE) Organization is responsible for the performance of the LE Business in the region, for the Controlling of the performance of the LE division in the different countries, for sharing of best practice in the LE organisation and for the definition of EMEA programs.
The Upgrade Engineer (f/m) will provide local upgrade support, will ensure that regional customer requirements for upgrades are incorporated into global upgrade-related product and service strategies and will ultimately be responsible for providing upgrade expertise to sales, partners and customers in the upgrade selling and implementation phases.
Education and qualifications / skills and competencies
- Ability to create well structured presentations addressing c-level audience
- Ability to analyze complex problems and present simple actionable solutions
- Flexible Service Oriented mentality with ability to manage time efficiently
- Excellent English Communication skills, further languages would be an asset
- Very high action orientation and pragmatism, readiness to take on responsibility; highly persistent; strongly oriented towards execution; self-managed, but strong team-player in multi-cultural environment; willingness to continuously learn
- Bachelors Degree or higher; advantage would be a degree from top Business School and experience from management consultancy
Expectations and tasks of the job
The successful candidate’s main activities will be to:
- Manage a portfolio of regional projects and activities, with focus on organizational changes and improvement
- Solve requests of management and senior management by coordinating local, regional and global teams, create progress reports and management presentations, present in front of top management
- Share best practices on regional level, seek improvement levers and drive a continuous improvement process throughout the organization
- Be involved in safeguarding top deals in EMEA region on a 4 rolling quarter basis
Work experience
- Proven project management skills, ideally 5+ years experience managing projects or internal change programs in an international context
- Experience in sales and sales processes a must
- Thorough understanding of enterprise application software
- Cross-functional and virtual team leadership skills, ability to influence without authority in an intercultural environment. Readiness to travel across Europe
