Channel Marketing Manager
Purpose and objective of the job
Working within budget, campaign schedules, and other assigned KPI’s, the Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for developing scalable ‘Campaign-to-channel’ components for all campaign plans that drive increased awareness and momentum with the partner community. He/She drives the process to evolve the single development of regional campaigns, executes across multiple countries and executes to many partners in each MU.
Education and qualifications / skills and competencies
- 5-7 years related product marketing or project management experience
- Preferably in software marketing, IT hardware or related technology
- Experienced in creating and executing strong and successful Marketing To Channel-Programs
- Experienced in working with external agencies
- Drive and attitude to serve the channel partners
- Strong customer orientation
- Experienced in working in an virtual environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to think strategically and analytically
- Able to work independently and have strong drive for results
Expectations and tasks of the job
Work with MU Marketing Managers and regional Partner Program Managers as well as external agencies and Partners to update relevant content for the partner portal, (e)Newsletter and the Internal Communication.
Together with the MU Channel Marketing Manager collate and review Partner feedback in order to build campaign plans which meet partners requirements re information on a high level.
Work with regional Partner Program Manager in order to create content for exiting Channel partners as well as for new partners (e.g. partner acquisition).
Create and maintain a regional repository of core partner marketing content that can be used in pre-populating regional campaigns ready for individual partner use.
Work with MU Channel Marketing Managers to build strategies that increase the integration of relevant information to existing SAP partners.
Working with the MU's, track the marketing to partners campaigns and activities and review their success re content relevance, partner integration and partner acquisition.
