SAP Business ByDesign Available in Singapore
Midsize Companies to Benefit from Complete, Adaptable On-Demand Solution Covering All Business Operations
Singapore - 2008년 1월 29일 - SAP Asia Pacific Japan today announced that SAP® Business ByDesign™, the company’s most complete and adaptable on-demand business software solution, is now locally available in Singapore. Complementing the existing SAP solution portfolio for small businesses and midsize companies, SAP Business ByDesign will be offered by both SAP and local partners. The solution, which delivers built-in service and support, is available as a personalized trial for invited customers to explore and evaluate, with competitive pricing beginning at US$149.
Already available in Germany, the United States, UK, France and China, the new SAP Business ByDesign solution is targeted exclusively to midmarket companies ranging from 100 to 500 employees, including growing companies that typically have not invested in these types of integrated business solutions. Fundamentally different from competitive midmarket solutions, SAP Business ByDesign drives faster time to value and helps minimize customers’ overall IT costs dramatically by reducing the need for user training, hardware investments, service, support and IT staffing.
Built on the SAP NetWeaver® technology platform and utilizing an enterprise service-oriented architecture (enterprise SOA), the solution provides a high degree of flexibility for companies to adapt business processes and address evolving market demands. The SAP Business ByDesign solution is an addition to the existing SAP product portfolio for small and midsize enterprises (SMEs), which includes SAP® Business All-in-One and SAP® Business One. With the complete SAP solution offering SMEs, SAP together with its partners is able to deliver the right solution for any small business and midsize company.
“The introduction of SAP Business ByDesign is a valuable extension of our already established solution portfolio for small businesses and midsize enterprises,” said Eric MacDonald, President & CEO, South East Asia, SAP. “By working through our local partner channel and directly with customers, SAP will empower companies in Singapore to achieve improved control over their full range of operations and be responsive to changing business needs.”
Local Availability of SAP Business ByDesign
In order to deliver SAP Business ByDesign to the Singapore market, SAP is engaging with existing partners to offer the new solution and will continue expanding its partner ecosystem strategy. Prospective SAP SME partners that are interested in the new business model can also apply to offer the solution.
Companies interested in the new solution can visit and sign up at the SAP Business ByDesign Web site www.sap.com/sg/businessbydesign. Through a unique “try before you buy” approach, prospective customers will be able to evaluate SAP Business ByDesign, configure it to their own unique business processes and then convert this initial effort into a productive system upon purchase. The SAP Business ByDesign solution will be fully available for all interested customers in Singapore beginning on January 29, 2008.
Prices in Singapore will start at a price of US$149 per user, per month (including software, infrastructure, services and support), with a minimum of 25 users to be licensed per customer. Group pricing for efficiency users, those needing limited access to the software (such as for self-service entering of time and expenses, and purchase confirmations), will be at US$54 per month for a set of five users.
