Towngas Employs SAP Solutions

Advanced consumption management system allows Towngas to enjoy
higher productivity and operational efficiency

Hong Kong - February 8, 2007 - SAP, world's leading provider of business software solutions, today announced that its mySAP Utility Solutions have been chosen by The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas). Towngas has been using SAP’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution since 1999 and decided to extend the cooperation by introducing SAP's Consumption Management System (CMS) to enhance operational efficiency and to meet future business needs. The new system is expected to be fully implemented by the second quarter of 2008.

Towngas, a public utility company, has to handle millions of bills every month. With mySAP Utility Solutions in place, the company can establish a seamless operational flow which will enhance overall productivity and efficiency, as well as help meet future business expansion needs.
