The functionality to optimize operations and resources to extend best practices across the entire value chain.

The product solutions centre of expertise provides product support for SAP SCM, SAP CRM and SAP ERP Travel Management business solutions.

SAP SCM

SAP SCM (SAP Supply Chain Management) transforms supply chain management from a linear, sequential process into an adaptive network that facilitates suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, business partners, and customers to:

  • make collaborative forecast and replenishment agreements (SC Collaboration)
  • simulate and optimize strategic, operational, and tactical planning scenarios and then convert these into feasible plans (SC Planning)
  • exchange and monitor order-based information (SC Coordination)
  • convert planning results into orders and then fulfil the orders (SC Execution)

Within SAP Labs France we cover the following scenarios of the SAP SCM solution:

  • SCM APO (Advanced Planner and Optimizer) ATP (Availability To Promise): Calculation of the availability of product quantities for commitment to customers.
  • SCM APO DP (Demand Planning): Aggregated and detailed demand planning with a variety of forecasting techniques based on aggregated sales figures.
  • SCM APO SNP (Supply Network Planning): Finite, cross-location, mid- to long-term production and procurement planning with simultaneous material planning and capacity scheduling. Deployment is used to plan short-term replenishment.
  • SCM F&R (Forecasting and Replenishment): Usage of sophisticated optimization and automation capabilities to strike the ideal balance between minimizing inventory ownership and maximizing customer service for retail operations. It provides functionality that replaces error prone manual stock replenishment techniques and helps improve inventory turnover and prevent out-of-stock conditions that result in lost sales and customer alienation.
  • SCM LCM (Logistic Center Management): included Shipping, Handling Unit Management, Warehouse Management (including Value Added Services and Cross Docking), TRM (task resource management), Yard Management, Mobile data entry.
  • SCM R/3 ATP (Availability To Promise): Calculation of date and quantity to provide material to a customers.

Our team works closely together with the IMS groups based in the USA, Canada, India and Germany.

SAP CRM

The CRM product supports all processes involving direct customer contact throughout the entire customer relationship life cycle - from market segmentation, sales lead generation and opportunities to post-sales and customer service. This includes business scenarios such as Field Sales and Service, Internet Sales and Service and the Customer Interaction Center.

The IMS CRM Sales team in SAP Labs France is in charge of the development support for:

  • Territory management, a tool that enables SAP's customers to structure and organize their sales market.
  • Partner processing that controls in all CRM business transactions, how the system works with Business Partners.
  • Organizational management, it is used to define the company's sales and service organizational structure.

In addition the team works with German and Indian colleagues on the following topics:

  • Support of the Sales business transactions (Activity Management, Opportunity management, Sales order)
  • CRM analytics (sales analytics, Operational reporting)

mySAP ERP Travel Management

SAP Travel Management provides easy-to-use tools that increase flexibility for business travellers; helping them book flights, hotels, and car rentals; the portal allows the entry of receipts and trigger a rapid reimbursement of expenses. All the travel related functionality is integrated to allow any business to effectively control travel costs, which are normally only second to salary costs.

Within SAP Labs France we manage the integration into global travel distribution systems, such as Amadeus.
