The SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) on-demand solution is the newest addition to SAP's market-leading offering of enterprise software applications developed to help customers act on immediate business needs and provide the cornerstone for future strategic growth. First in a series of subscription-based software offerings, the SAP Sales on-demand solution is designed to help midsize- and enterprise organizations manage their customers, contacts and sales pipelines with affordable, simple-to-use and easy-to-configure tools available directly via the Internet.
Because business demands are in constant flux, the SAPCRM on-demand solution allows customers to quickly deploy a solution that best meets departmental needs — accommodating the varying needs and business aims within the organization — while maintaining the flexibility to grow beyond core sales productivity in the future. To meet this objective, SAP now offers two CRM deployment options. The hosted, Web-based SAP® Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) on-demand solution and the multi-channel, integrated, on-premise SAP CRM solution.
