Installed Base Maintenance and Support
The IMS team (Installed Based Maintenance and Support) in Sophia Antipolis started in July 2002. It was founded in order to strengthen and enhance the support SAP provides to its global customers base. IMS offers development support for all mainstream releases. Additionally, it delivers extended maintenance for mature releases following the 5-1-2 policy.
The goals of IMS are to:
- deliver efficient customer specific and standard corrections. Reduce the size and the number of support packages to the minimum.
- solve complex customer problems on Development Support level.
- develop upgrade and migration services. This includes development of tools for the migration, reduction of customer modifications.
- provide enhanced SAP expert services (Remote consulting, On-Site intervention for problem solving or special developments, On-Site de-escalation etc.)
- ensure customer-specific maintenance for high profile contracts.
As members of IMS, our required skills are to not only being experts in development and debugging, but being extremely customer-oriented in our daily work.
