SAP Labs France SAS, headquartered in Sophia Antipolis, is one of the most important scientific parks worldwide. A high concentration of IT and telecommunication industries within walking distance and proximity to partners and customers, as well as educational establishments in the region provide SAP Labs France in Sophia Antipolis with an ideal working environment.
Founded in Sophia Antipolis in 1998, SAP Labs France SAS’ first years were marked by SAP’s successful endeavor to internationalize and broaden our development organization. Excellent performance and reliability of SAP Labs France employees have contributed to an excellent reputation inside the SAP Labs worldwide network.
In 2005, SAP Labs France shifted focus into two new directions:
- Research
- Service and Support (AGS / IMS)
SAP Labs France, along with SAP Research, is focusing on progressive, important subjects such as security and trust. Thanks to numerous cooperation agreements in France, as well as in the international arena, SAP Research at SAP Labs France is now a valued, non-replaceable player in security and trust research.
SAP Labs France research teams work on e-government and public safety applications. Local collaborations with external partners and educational organizations in the region, including Inria, Eurécom Institute, and the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, provide strong support and resources to these research projects. The role of SAP Services & Support has grown steadily, with a focus on the French market and the SAP Solution Manager application management solution.
Today, SAP Labs France employs more than 200 employees from 24 different nationalities. Most employees are located in the South of France in Mougins and Sophia Antipolis, as well as in a small outpost in Paris.
