Run SAP Methodology

Are you looking for ASAP methodology for operations? Based on world-class knowledge, the Run SAP methodology provides best-practices procedures, content, services, training, and tools for end-to-end solution operations with proven implementation standards. The Run SAP methodology focuses on application management, business-process operations, and administration of SAP solutions. You learn how to implement and operate support across life-cycle design, setup, operations, and optimization. Using best-practice documents for solution operations, you learn how to implement and operate end-to-end solution operations for different SAP software-based business processes.

The SAP support partner program certifies your delivery organization on end-to-end solution operations standards and helps you prepare to adopt the Run SAP methodology into your own IT operation standards. After applying to the program, you may be invited to participate in a discovery workshop organized by your regional SAP partner manager from the SAP Active Global Support organization. The workshops are interactive meetings that give partners an overview of the Run SAP methodology and the end-to-end solution operations standards – and require partners to give SAP an overview on their current application management and/or hosting organization and strategy.

A Win for You and a Win for SAP

If you decide to pursue certification in the Run SAP methodology as part of the SAP support partner program, you can work with SAP for support in understanding, adopting, implementing and operating the end-to-end standards. SAP Active Global Support will help you install the standards and then will shadow you as you implement the standards for a pilot customer – while transferring skills and enabling your partner resources. You will then implement the standards for additional customers to satisfy the minimum criteria of the program.
