PAN Manager software by Egenera is the leader infrastructure orchestration by unifying virtual and physical infrastructure management. Customers worldwide standardize on PAN Manager's reliable virtualized architecture, which is based on industry standards and supports popular hypervisors, SANs and server platforms. PAN Manager eliminates data center complexity cost effectively to reduce opex and capex by up to 70 percent.

The PAN Manager architecture provides a pool of stateless processing nodes connected via a high-speed, low-latency fabric. These processing nodes contain no disk drives, network interface cards, or host bus adapters – nothing that would give the server a specific identity or state. Instead, all points of state and identity have been moved to a fabric switch, enabling virtualization of physical and virtual servers and connecting data center infrastructure.
