TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS
AMD AND SAP
SAP applications are mission critical for most companies. To meet increasing business demands while controlling costs, IT organizations continually strive for ways to improve the performance of their SAP software landscapes, support additional SAP applications and users, and look for ways to support the global deployment of SAP applications within their organizations. AMD and SAP are working together to meet those demands by providing SAP business software solutions on premier x86 processor-based platforms for all operating systems.
Alliance Overview
The AMD alliance with SAP started in 2003 when AMD worked with SAP to develop the first x86 64-bit SAP software products running on Linux. Since 2004, AMD has been an SAP global alliance partner, with a worldwide SAP Customer Competence Center in Walldorf, Germany and dedicated resources in the Europe, Middle East, and Asia (EMEA) region and North America. AMD and SAP America have established a go-to-market agreement to support joint sales initiatives in North America.
