• This workshop is designed to provide the seasoned application consultant with a broader technical knowledge base in order to enhance the consultants value in terms of solution development and troubleshooting.
This course will enable you to: ~ Understand the NetWeaver and WAS architectures ~ Navigate the Object Navigator and understand its purpose and functions ~ Use the ABAP Dictionary to analyze the various data objects in mySAP ERP, create customized search helps and to find dictionary objects using the Object Navigator ~ Write a simple program using the ABAP editor ~ Identify advanced workbench components such as function modules, screens and menus ~ Launch the ABAP Debugger and use it to view data and analyze programs and transactions ~ Execute a SQL Trace and interpret it's output ~ Describe the various ways mySAP ERP can be enhanced (over and above configuration) without changing the SAP source code, and to locate the enhancement points and understand how they are used. ~ Utilize other mySAP ERP WAS tools such as the BDC Transaction Recorder, Authorization Check, SAP Query and Quick Viewer. ~ Create a simple test procedure using eCATT
