Since its inception, YOKE has targeted high-end markets for its products. However, after the financial “tsunami” that hit world markets in 2008, Steven Hong, president and CEO at YOKE, rethought the company’s approach to its markets. He decided to transform the company based on what he described as a “high-quality and inexpensive, fast-in, fast-out” strategy.

Strategy: High-quality, inexpensive, fast-in, fast-out.

The Challenge

Integrating corporate resources, improving management efficiency

Top Objectives

  • Replace six existing third-party software applications with a single, integrated solution
  • Implement a single ERP solution on time and within budget, lowering the total cost of ownership
  • Provide IT support for plans to increase share in global markets

Enter SAP

Introducing the industry-leading brand SAP not only improved YOKE’s reputation, but also addressed all our problems at once, significantly improving management efficiency, and transforming the firm.

Lower prices and a more stable supply line meet customers’ expectations in terms of quality, price, completion date, and service, guaranteeing the kind of customer satisfaction that is important to YOKE.

Running Better

After initially implementing SAP ERP, YOKE didn’t stop there, but went on to successfully deploy:

  • SAP Supply Chain Management
  • SAP Customer Relationship Management
  • SAP NetWeaver® Business Warehouse

The most recent implementation of SAP HANA™ platform delivers real-time data for higher efficiency and flexibility, allowing actionable business insights.

On-time and within budget

As part of its due diligence, YOKE carefully analyzed the cost structures of its previous production systems before introducing the new solutions. At the same time, the company adhered closely to the best practices supported by SAP – an important success factor in itself. The professional assistance provided by the SAP advisory team and the resulting reduction in unnecessary customization also contributed to the on-time and within-budget implementation.
