We, SAP, commit to continuously improve our environmental performance and to protect our environment. We will concentrate our efforts on the following:

• Assess, monitor, manage and report on our operations' and products' ecological impact.
• Comply with the requirements of environmental legislation and approved codes of practice
• Raise awareness, encourage participation, and train employees in environmental matters
• Introduce environmental standards for suppliers and contractors
• Participate in discussions and raise public awareness on climate change issues
• Help define environmental standards in collaboration with our stakeholders
• Collaborate with external parties, including local governments and civil society, in cooperative efforts to provide a healthy environment in the regions around our operations
• Develop innovative solutions helping customers embed environmental sustainability into their business strategies

Our target is to become a role model for sustainability including environmental aspects.
