Robert Enslin

 

Robert EnslinRobert Enslin is president of Sales and a member of the SAP Global Managing Board. Robert leads the company's sales efforts, including all regional sales and operations, specialized sales units for banking and HR, and the company's ecosystem and channels organization. He is responsible for creating and executing all go-to-market efforts for the company's expansive portfolio.

Robert ascended to the SAP Global Managing Board in 2012 from his role as Global Field Operations President, where he led all regional sales and operations efforts. Prior to 2011, he served as president of SAP North America and was responsible for all of SAP's business operations in this region. Prior to that position, he served as chief operating officer (COO) and executive vice president of Fast Growth Markets for Global Field Organization. In this position, Robert was responsible for developing operations in India, Turkey, Brazil, China, and other emerging-market countries. It was also during this time that Robert served as the interim president and CEO for SAP Latin America.

Previous to assuming his global position, Robert managed SAP's largest subsidiary in Asia, as the president and CEO of SAP Japan Co., Ltd. There he led the organization's turnaround, building the infrastructure necessary for future growth.

Robert joined SAP in 1992 when he supported building a significant SAP presence in South Africa. There he held numerous roles in consulting, sales, and solutions management before transferring to SAP America in 1997. In North America, he served as senior vice president and general manager of the Northeast region, responsible for leading SAP America's largest region in sales. He was also the senior vice president of the manufacturing sector for the region. In addition, Robert built the SAP account management program for SAP America through the Global Alliance Account program, which consisted of SAP's 50 largest customers.

Before joining SAP, Robert spent 11 years in various roles in the IT industry. Robert is a graduate of the University of South Africa with a degree in accounting.
