Bob CalderoniBob Calderoni joined SAP when SAP acquired Ariba, the company he leads as Chairman and CEO. As a member of the SAP Global Managing Board, Calderoni owns all responsibility around the company's Business Network and Cloud-related supplier assets, including strategy, product development, and all associated go-to-market capabilities.

Ariba leads the way in delivering innovative solutions that combine cloud-based technology; the world's largest, web-based, business-to-business trading network; and advanced capabilities in the form of expertise, best practices, and business intelligence to help companies improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their procurement, sales and marketing, and financial operations.

Under Calderoni's leadership, Ariba has secured as customers more than half of the Fortune 500, and more than 730,000 sellers on the Ariba Network. Ariba has been named to the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 and the Manufacturing Business Technology Global 100, and is routinely identified as a top vendor by independent research firms.

Prior to joining Ariba, Calderoni served as senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer for Avery Dennison. Before joining Avery Dennison, he was senior vice president of finance and corporate controller for Apple Computer, Inc., and chief financial officer and vice president of finance for IBM's $8 billion Storage Systems division. He began his career with Arthur Andersen & Company.

With more than 20 years of experience as a Fortune 500 financial and operations executive, Calderoni has intimate knowledge of change management and a deep understanding of how technology can optimize a corporation's spending, sales, and financial performance. He has been named among the 100 Most Influential People in Finance by Treasury & Risk Management Magazine and one of the Top Pros to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine.

A certified public accountant, Calderoni holds a bachelor of science degree from Fordham University. He is also a member of the boards of Juniper Networks in Sunnyvale, CA and KLA Tencor in Milpitas, CA.
