Successful implementations require focus, direction, and clear quality standards. This is no easy task and deserves recognition. The SAP Quality Awards celebrate customers that use SAP's ten quality principles (PDF) to:

• Effectively manage software implementations marked by complex technical and business process requirements
• Make the extraordinary look ordinary, excelling in execution and delivering significant benefits
• Achieve fast, low-cost implementations to accommodate today's demands for fast time to value

Through the Active Quality Management organization, SAP is taking action to work closer with our partners and customers. It is our desire to better mitigate risks and ensure that there are many successful implementations of SAP solutions. The winners of the EMEA Quality Awards 2010 were announced at SAPPHIRE NOW in Frankfurt on May 17 (watch the ceremony replay).

With a 50% increase in nominations since 2008 and many excellent projects nominated, it has been a difficult process to select the winners as there were many strong candidates.
