Obtain Your Ph.D. at SAP Research
The SAP Research Ph.D. program provides doctoral candidates interested in writing a dissertation in industrial, "real-life" research with the ideal setting. The breadth of international projects and topics offers a wide range of opportunities for a doctoral thesis. This is why SAP Research established a dedicated Ph.D. framework in close collaboration with several European universities. The envisaged timeframe to complete the dissertation is three years. During this period, candidates are assigned to a challenging project within one of SAP's research topics and work under the guidance of their academic supervisor and SAP Research manager.
Recent program participants have focused on topics such as e-business integration, next-generation applications, security and trust, smart items and future manufacturing, and end-user development. In addition to these technical topics, SAP Research Ph.D. students are undertaking projects in areas such as innovation management and research communications.
