Recognized internationally as the world's number one golf instructor, David Leadbetter has coached numerous stars of the game throughout his career, including Ernie Els, Nick Price, Michelle Wie, Justin Rose, Lee Westwood, Trevor Immelman, Greg Norman, Nick Faldo, Michael Campbell, and Scott Hoch. His students have amassed over a dozen major championship titles and over 100 individual worldwide tournament victories.
2009 was a successful year for David’s students – with the debut win for LPGA Tour phenomenon Michelle Wie, who won a one-shot victory over SAP ambassador Paula Creamer, at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational in Mexico. Suzann Pettersen also won a long-awaited victory in the Canadian Women's Open Championship, where she won by 5 strokes.
In 2009, David reunited with SAP ambassador Ernie Els. Superior performances by Els toward the end of the year show signs of winning prospects for 2010.
Strengthening his partnership with SAP customer Callaway Golf, David is opening one of the company's famous performance centers at his headquarters in Florida. This partnership demonstrates that he will once again be leading the way in implementing cutting-edge technology in golf-coaching methods.
