Marge Breya is executive vice president and general manager of the Business Intelligence Platform group at Business Objects, an SAP company. In this role, Breya oversees full product line responsibility for information discovery and delivery (IDD) and enterprise information management (EIM) solutions, as well as the company's OnDemand business. In addition, Breya leads the strategy management team and chairs the Corporate Strategy Board.
Previously, Breya was chief marketing officer at Business Objects SA, where she was responsible for developing and communicating the company's vision and strategy, and establishing its brand value proposition. In addition to running all marketing and communications functions worldwide, Breya also managed the company's product line businesses for enterprise information management (EIM), core business intelligence (BI), and midmarket teams.
Breya brings more than 22 years of technology marketing management experience to SAP. In addition to Business Objects, she was an important contributor to the success of well-known technology companies, including BEA Systems, where she was senior vice president (SVP) and chief marketing officer; and at Sun Microsystems, where she was SVP of marketing for the global sales operations.
Breya holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois (Urbana/Champaign) and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Oregon.
