RFID 101 -- An ASUG Webcast

Learn about what the RFID technology can do to help you run a more successful business.

To explore the possibilities of the RFID technology it is crucial to understand the components involved, the physics, and the basic principles behind the technology.

Beyond the technology the possibilities of using collected RFID data via the SAP Auto ID Infrastructure and SAP Object Event Repository will be presented, and RFID enabled processes (inbound, outbound, returnable items, KANBAN …) will be discussed.

Current standards of the Electronic Product Code (EPC) for RFID tags will be explained. Reference projects from several industries underline the value customers can get out of RFID today and the integration into SAP’s business systems.
