Effective and Efficient Management of Earned Income Programs Audio Track - 2

Effective and Efficient Management of Earned Income Programs Audio Track - 2

Fifty percent or more of the typical foodservice distributor’s operating income (about three percent of net sales revenue) is comprised of earned income received from suppliers. Some distributors actually report that their earned income represents a higher percent of net sales revenue than their operating income. That makes effective and efficient management of earned income programs by foodservice distributors a strategic financial initiative.

This Podcast will demonstrate the value of using integrated application systems to automate and manage all aspects of the distributor’s earned income program(s). Participants will also be granted access to SAP America, Inc.’s white paper, Enabling Efficient Earned Income Management in Foodservice Distribution.

Topics
  • Create and maintain complex incentive and rebate agreements
  • Evaluate all possible “buy side” and “sell side” transactions to identify incentive and rebate opportunities
  • Accurately calculate the amount of earned income to claim
  • Generate and submit the claims request to the supplier
  • Track and verify timely and accurate settlements of the incentive or rebate claim
