Butterball: Growing from Midsize Company to Large Enterprise
Butterball LLC, the largest producer of turkey products in the United States, was created in 2006 when Carolina Turkeys acquired the Butterball brand and assets from ConAgra Foods Inc. Previously, Carolina Turkeys was a midsize company. Within five months, after scaling its initial SAP deployment to integrate Butterball assets, the company grew from US$500 million to $1.5 billion in revenue.
