This series of 4 podcasts presents the concept of HRO 2.0 – a new approach to Human Resources Outsouricng (HRO) aimed at achieving a better, more sustainable, and replicable service delivery model. Each podcast combines the market-insights of reknown HRO expert Lowell Williams, Executive Director Global HR Sourcing at the leading sourcing advisory, EquaTerra and Dr. Christian Baader, Vice President of BPO at SAP.
Part 1 lines out the business fundamentals behind BPO, the impact technology has on these, and the things that went wrong in the past and lead to the need for HRO 2.0.
Part 2 looks into the fact that sometimes, providers bite of more than they can chew in terms of process breadth and depth which they take on. It also explores in more detail several specific processes and discusses how different economies of scale effects apply to these.
